Simon and Mark headed to West Malling Golf Club in April to attend session 1 of the Business Owners Masterclass series jointly hosted by The Financial Planning Club and the Personal Finance Society.
The 6 session course has been designed to help financial advice business owners gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of running a successful financial advice business covering topics such as gaining clarity of vision and direction, building the right team and structure, understanding and using the businesses key numbers, strengthening core processes and turning plans into action.
Simon and Mark both found it a valuable opportunity to step back from the day-to-day, share ideas, and connect with advisers from other firms navigating similar challenges.
They both came away with heads buzzing full of ideas and couldn’t wait to sit down with Suz to discuss ways of turning some of their best plans into action. Bring on the next 5 sessions!!!
